Una installazione molto semplice, connetti l' anemometro Davis nel connettore interno 6P4C. Se usi qualche altro tipo di anemometro, va bene lo stesso. Lo puoi connettere direttamente al blocco di connessione in entrata del sensore.
Individuazione automatica dell'anemometro da parte del sistema. Il nuovo WindLogger ti farà sapere se c'è un anemometro connesso e funzionante, prima di lasciare il sito.
Opzione per sensore di temperatura esterno
Monitor batteria integrato
Eccezionale durata della batteria fino ad 1 anno con un intervallo di logging di 1 minuto

Caratteristiche
- Registrazione della velocità del vento da due anemometri simultaneamente - Velocità media del vento, velocità della raffica e deviazione standard (turbolenza) e wdirezione

- Fino ad un anno di vita della batteria registrando dati ogni minuto o fino a 3 anni di durata con una registrazione dei dati ogni 10 minuti. (10 secondi disponibili solo ai fini test)
- Dati sovraimpressi registrati con memory card micro-SD estraibili in formato CSV per uso con Excel o software di analisi del vento. Include tutti i valori del sensore e stato della batteria.

From Waste To Wind

We purchased Lewl Windlogger for our projects after technical support professionally explained what the error margin of the standard anemometer is compared to a calibrated one. WE are happy with the product and want to order more units.

Atacama Desert

Studying the aerosol/particulate material deposition for Atacama Desert, we set a west-east transect of dust traps starting close to the Pacific Ocean until the Andes Cordillera. To study the atmospheric deposition and its temporal-spatial dynamics we purchased 3 wind trackers close to the dust traps so we analyse the wind speed and direction. Excellent customer support with our first international purchase out of Chile.

Monitoring wind in Switzerland

The wind logger is installed near a cow barn, where I rented the roof, to put a 152 kWp PV-plant. Thus, it would be easy to connect a future wind generator with the electricity grid. To see if the wind is good enough to put a small wind turbine generator system in this area. I am loggin the wind for one year started in February 2023. Then I’ll decide to ask the local authority for permission. I installed the wind logger on a 12-meter pole. Looks like the wind speed in this area of Switzerland is not very promising. Although during winter wind is normally stronger, hence having windlogger is great decision.

Q: Hi guys,Do you have a MAC OS setup program for the LEWL by any chance?

A: Unfortunately not, however the setup is done using a simple text file that can be edited manually. When the new file is found by the data logger, then it loads its configuration. This process is described in the wind logger manual.

Q: Is the sensor compatible with Anemometer Young?

A: Hello, it depends which model. You would need to use one with a pulse output.

Q: Hello,The wind direction angle recorded by these devices represents the direction the wind is blowing FROM? Does a 90º direction mean wind blows westward? Thank you, I purchased 4 anemometers of yours and they are just fine!

A: Yes, that is correct. The wind vane points where the wind is coming from, in the case of recording a 90º, the wind would be comfing from the East. 90º is East, and 270º would be West.

Q: I am interested in getting a new LeWL WindLogger, Could you tell me if the equipment has calibration report and what class it is?

A: Calibration certificates are done for the anemoeters (wind sensors). In this case, depending on the size of your project you may need a 1st Class MEASNET anemometer. Feel free to contact us with details, we will be happy to suggest the best option.
